Port / Captain:
The port of Muskegon is the perfect port for visitors that like to be off the beaten path. Muskegon is centrally located between Grand Haven and Whitehall, allowing flexibility of fishing any of the 3 ports depending on fishing reports.
The Lake Express Car Ferry is also within walking distance. On any given day, guests can see the impressive ferry make one of three trips to Wisconsin. From Muskegon Lake guests will also cruise by the USS Silversides Submarine. A World War II submarine that received twelve battle stars for service.
After a full day of fishing, guests can enjoy a variety of unique area restaurants.
Captain Tim:
Captain Tim has been fishing since he could walk. Starting with various inland lakes and rivers. Tim grew up on Dutchman Lake where he spent every waking moment catching pan fish summer, winter, spring & fall. After high school he went to work in the Tool & Die trade. Many a night after work was spent catching Steelhead and Salmon from the Grand River.
At age 20 Tim bought his 1st Big Lake fishing boat and has been fishing Lake Michigan ever since. In 2013, Tim earned the rank of Captain so he could share his love of fishing with others.
